Chrome Extension
The HARi Chrome extension lets you add contacts to your CRM directly from LinkedIn, company websites, and any web page, without copy-pasting.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Log in with your HARi credentials
- Browse LinkedIn or any website
- The extension detects contact information on the page
- Click to review and sync the contact to HARi
The extension uses a Chrome Side Panel, keeping it completely separate from the page you are browsing. It never injects elements into web pages.
AI-powered contact detection
Section titled “AI-powered contact detection”The extension uses AI pattern recognition to find contact details on any page:
- Name — detected from page headings, profile sections, or structured data
- Job title — extracted from profile descriptions or about sections
- Company — matched from context or company pages
- Email — found in page content, mailto links, or structured data
- Phone — detected from page content or contact sections
- LinkedIn URL — captured from the current page URL
The AI learns from page structures rather than relying on fixed selectors, so it works even when websites change their layout.
LinkedIn integration
Section titled “LinkedIn integration”On LinkedIn profile pages, the extension automatically detects:
- Full name
- Current job title and company
- Location
- Profile URL
Click Add to HARi to create a contact with all detected fields pre-filled. If the company does not exist in your CRM, it is created automatically.
The extension reads profile data from the page. It does not use the LinkedIn API and does not violate LinkedIn’s terms of service.
Duplicate detection
Section titled “Duplicate detection”Before creating a new contact, the extension checks your CRM for existing matches:
- Same email address
- Same name + company combination
- Similar name (fuzzy match)
If a match is found, you can view the existing record, update it with new information, or create a new record anyway.
One-click sync
Section titled “One-click sync”When the extension detects a contact, you see a summary card with all detected fields. You can:
- Edit any field before syncing
- Choose the entity type (Contact, Lead, or any custom entity)
- Set the owner (defaults to you)
- Add notes about where you found this person
Click Sync to HARi and the record is created instantly.
Activity logging
Section titled “Activity logging”Every contact captured via the extension is logged with:
- Source: “Chrome Extension”
- The URL where the contact was found
- Timestamp
- A note with context (e.g., “Found on LinkedIn”)
This gives your team visibility into where leads are coming from.
- Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store
- Click the HARi icon in your browser toolbar
- Enter your HARi workspace URL and log in
- The side panel opens when you visit supported pages
The extension works with any HARi workspace. No additional configuration is needed.
