What it will do
Section titled “What it will do”The WhatsApp integration lets you communicate with contacts via WhatsApp directly from HARi. Conversations are threaded, logged, and linked to CRM records automatically.
Planned features
Section titled “Planned features”- Send messages from HARi: compose and send WhatsApp messages from a contact’s record page
- Receive messages in the inbox: incoming WhatsApp messages appear in HARi’s unified inbox
- Conversation threads: messages are grouped into threaded conversations per contact
- Media support: send and receive images, documents, and voice messages
- Template messages: use pre-approved WhatsApp message templates for outreach
- Auto-linking: messages are automatically linked to the contact’s CRM record by phone number
How it will work
Section titled “How it will work”- Go to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp
- Connect your WhatsApp Business account (via the WhatsApp Business API)
- Verify your business phone number
- Configure message templates (required by WhatsApp for outbound messages)
- Start messaging contacts from HARi
WhatsApp Business API requirements
Section titled “WhatsApp Business API requirements”WhatsApp requires businesses to use the official Business API for CRM integrations. This means:
- You need a WhatsApp Business account (not a personal account)
- Outbound messages to new conversations must use pre-approved templates
- Once a contact replies, you have a 24-hour window to send free-form messages
- Your business must be verified by Meta to send messages at scale
What data will sync

Use cases
Section titled “Use cases”- Sales follow-ups: send a quick WhatsApp message after a meeting instead of email
- Appointment confirmations: use a template to confirm meetings with contacts
- Support conversations: handle customer inquiries via WhatsApp and log them in the CRM
- Team notifications: use workflows to send WhatsApp alerts for urgent events
Conversations in the CRM
Section titled “Conversations in the CRM”Every WhatsApp conversation appears:
- In the unified inbox alongside email and Telegram messages
- On the contact’s activity timeline in chronological order
- In search results (message content is searchable)
