How to Fix Calendar Sync Issues

Your HARi activities are not appearing on your external calendar, or your calendar events are not showing in HARi.

  1. Calendar integration is not connected. The sync must be explicitly set up in your user settings — it doesn’t happen automatically.

  2. Authorization has expired. If you connected your calendar using OAuth, the authorization token may have expired and needs to be refreshed.

  3. Sync direction is one-way. Depending on your configuration, sync may only go from HARi to your calendar (or vice versa), not both directions.

  4. Activity types are not mapped. Only certain activity types (meetings, calls) may be configured to sync. Tasks or notes might be excluded by default.

  5. Time zone mismatch. If your HARi time zone and your calendar time zone differ, events may appear at the wrong time or on the wrong day.

  1. Go to your User Profile > Integrations and check if your calendar is connected.
  2. If connected, check the last sync time. If it shows an error, click “Reconnect” to refresh the authorization.
  3. Verify the sync direction setting: one-way (HARi to calendar) or two-way.
  4. Check which activity types are included in the sync. Add any missing types.
  5. Confirm your time zone in HARi matches your calendar’s time zone.
  6. After making changes, click “Sync now” to trigger an immediate sync.

Calendar sync runs on a short interval (typically every 15 minutes). If changes aren’t appearing, wait 15 minutes and check again. If events still don’t sync after reconnecting and waiting, contact support with your calendar provider (Google, Outlook, etc.) and any error messages visible in the integration settings.
