How to Use the HARi Chrome Extension

The HARi Chrome extension lets you interact with your CRM without leaving your current browser tab. Capture leads from LinkedIn, look up contacts, and log activities — all from a convenient side panel.

  1. Open the Chrome Web Store
  2. Search for HARi CRM
  3. Click Add to Chrome
  4. Click Add Extension in the confirmation dialog
  5. The HARi icon appears in your Chrome toolbar
  1. Click the HARi icon in the Chrome toolbar
  2. Enter your HARi CRM workspace URL (e.g., your-company.haricrm.com)
  3. Log in with your email and password
  4. You stay logged in until you sign out

The extension opens as a side panel alongside your current page. This means it does not inject anything into the pages you visit — it stays separate and secure.

  1. While browsing, click the HARi icon to open the side panel
  2. The extension shows relevant CRM data if it recognizes the person or company you are viewing
  3. See the contact’s full record: name, company, deal stage, recent activities
  1. Open the side panel while viewing a profile or company page
  2. Click Create Lead or Create Contact
  3. The extension intelligently fills in available details
  4. Review and edit the information
  5. Click Save — the record is created in your CRM instantly
  1. Open the side panel on any page
  2. Click Log Activity
  3. Select the type (call, meeting, note)
  4. Link it to an existing contact or deal
  5. Add your notes and click Save

When browsing LinkedIn profiles, the extension can:

  • Check if the person exists in your CRM
  • Show existing data if they are already a contact
  • Capture profile information to create a new contact or lead

The extension reads page content through Chrome’s native side panel — it never injects elements into LinkedIn or modifies the page in any way.

  • Keep the side panel open while prospecting to quickly check and create records
  • Use keyboard shortcuts to open the side panel faster
  • Data stays in your CRM — the extension communicates only with your HARi workspace, never with third parties
